With this being the third event we’ve supported for them in two years, the client asked GoGather to bring fresh energy to a familiar destination while keeping sales growth front and center.

How we kept this year’s franchise convention fresh.
Our client relied on us to bring fresh ideas that would keep attendees engaged and excited to return each year, and our project management team delivered in three key ways:

1. Creating an elevated VIP dinner experience.
For top-performing franchise owners, we transformed a fortress-inspired venue into an intimate, refined dinner setting.
Highlights included:
- A live acoustic guitarist for a mellow, welcoming vibe
- Elegant floral arrangements from a local florist
- String lighting and high-end linens that set a warm tone
- A custom-designed dinner menu built in collaboration with the hotel’s chefs
- The result was a relaxed, elevated environment that gave VIPs a memorable way to connect and celebrate their achievements.

2. Reimagining marketing engagement with Refundville.
To replace a traditional breakout session, we helped the marketing team bring their creative concept (Refundville) to life.
This immersive setup turned marketing education into an interactive cityscape, complete with themed storefronts where attendees could connect directly with experts.
Each “shop” focused on a specific marketing topic, creating natural, one-on-one conversations and small group discussions. The format encouraged exploration and quickly became a highlight of the event.

3. Ending on a high note with a neon celebration.
The final night of the conference featured a high-energy glow-in-the-dark celebration with a neon theme and entertainment.
The evening included:
- A live local cover band performing on a built-in stage
Dinner service for all attendees - An LED dance floor and colorful glow décor
- Interactive games like foosball, ping pong, pool, cornhole, and beer pong
When weather forced a last-minute venue change, our event planning team worked quickly with the venue to move the party indoors, a pivot that actually improved the experience.
The new space allowed for extended hours and better acoustics, turning an unexpected challenge into one of the most successful events of the conference.

The 2025 Franchise Convention at the Gaylord Palms Orlando was a success! Franchisees loved the mix of meaningful sessions and creative engagement. Sponsors came away with stronger connections and new business insights.
